The Homesick Imagination

The good people at the University of Arizona Poetry Center asked me to write an essay for their ongoing series, “Where Was I: Adventures in Reading.” I suppose I would call this a Literacy Narrative. Anyway, it centers around homesickness, the imagination, New Jersey, and WC Williams’ poem, “To Elsie.” The essay is here.
